Dr Alexandra Hockings

Dr Alexandra Hockings is a general urologist treating patients with a wide range of urological conditions. She has subspecialty interests in urinary stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia including GreenLight Laser Therapy.
Dr Hockings has completed extensive research in uro-oncology. During 2013, she undertook a joint Fellowship at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and St Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne.
Her undergraduate degree (MBBS) is from the University of Western Australia and through her training, Dr Hockings travelled extensively doing foreign aid work.
Currently, Dr Hockings teaches with the Royal Australian College of Surgeons through the Clinical Training and Evaluation Centre (CTEC) in Nedlands and mentors at the University of Western Australia. She has also lectured in general medicine at Melbourne University's Medical School.
